![]() ![]() Generally speaking if you are Top heavy the answer is percentage refinements are better, attacking and defending. Are you top heavy or do you have beefy lower troop tier numbers? Are the troops attacking or are they defending? Additionally important is what do your troop layers look like. But what I didn’t articulate and what is important to understand is that the use of the troops is a dependent for the answer. This thread was to understand which is better in general. ![]() So Flat refinements are better for T9 and below and % is better for higher tier troops 11-15. Flat Stat Increase = 1,772 vs 1,312 (from 20% of base HP stat). However, when you look at tier 9 Ground Troop HP base stat, 6,560 HP, the flat increases, again assuming maxed refinement, is statistically better than the percentage increase. So percent increases for that stat and troop tier(14) is better. A 20% increase to that number, 4,088, is better than adding 1,772 to the base. So assuming maxed out refines and using the link above, T14 Ground has a base HP stat of 20,440 hit points. So you have a choice of what refinement to choose from. The range for a percent increase is 1-20% increase for Ground HP, and for a flat HP increase the range is 1-1,772 HP. A good guide to troop stats is in the link below.įor a Dragon like Norway Ridge you can refine to add stat increases for Ground HP for your ground Troops. Refinements for Attack, HP and Defense have two flavors, percentage increase or a flat numeric increase. General Gear and Dragons can be refined to add stat increases to your troops. Your troop types, Ground, Range, Mounted, Siege all have statistics that vary based on the troop type and their level. ![]()
